Last night somewhere in Louisiana.
......... don't know who cleaned it and how...

A random guy on Facebook said they only do VLM in
those stores because of all the books.

Not sure if that's true or not.

It's a friend of one of my kids so they asked me..

I said VLM it....

What say you pros....?

Looks like it was soaked during the cleaning, but to be fair, we have no idea what might have been drug across the floor coming out of the employee’s only area that could be wicking up.

A decent encap with some peroxide would probably handle it with ease.

No kidding? Probably got soaked by some idiots on a crew either holding the Cimex trigger wide open as they walk, blasting a TM at 800psi, or using a porty with half dead vac motors.

I bet any of us on this site could have it looking pretty good, regardless of what went down.

You’d be able to see the pile distortion if they’d RV’d it. I’m surprised you missed that.

All carpet has a pile
And you can most certainly tell when a RE has been used on it

the random guy only VLM's?

No one knows how it was cleaned,

A guy commented on Facebook when I posted that those stores usually do vlm because of the books.

I don't know if he's right or wrong.

I think it was cleaned, and someone did a bad job.

Saying the got those money's worth because they paid .03 cents a foot, I don't know what they paid.

I just know it was a horrible job.

I told my daughter to tell them to vlm it.

Rug Dr, or equivalent .

Prob'ly not.
I have one (bought a Home Depot commercial rental unit)
bought it for a seniors only hi-rise I felt too guilty to continue spray 'n wipe Oh-Peeing them

the roll brush does a good job of scrubbing, the vac is very good for the amount of squirt the jets put out.
Dry times were mineable

I was pleasantly surprised for a little POS squirt box

Book stores are hurting due to every reading material and sources being transferred to online reading. They have to hire the cheapest guy around.

Me personally like to read hardcover books and i still have the news paper delivered.
Used book stores here are still doing well.
