So Marty is right?In the case of products with which I’m familiar, there are powdered products used as presprays that have a measure of d-limonene in their formulation to assist alkaline component and surfactants to break down oily soils. Liquid products used as presprays could contain d-limonene, as well as glycol ethers, surfactants and alkaline builders.
Then there are spotters/boosters that may contain a measure of d-limonene, as well as other solvents and mineral spirits.
If you’ve ever wondered why some “citrus solvents” sell for half the price of others?
It is pretty much how much d-limonene is in the formula.
Some have no d-limonene at all, but are merely less expensive solvents with an orange deodorizer added.
