Received a call new customer asking if I place paper on the floors while cleaning and leave it down after the cleaning. Said sorry I dont so on to the next guy. Do any of you use the paper while cleaning. jz
I had requests to cover carpet with a layer of paper back in the years, but recently, not so much. I do remember though, Mrs. Jones covering her carpet with a bunch of towels as I turned my back. I think that covering the carpet is counterproductive and may cause safety hazards as someone already mentioned. I strongly advise against it, since I leave the carpet barely damp( 75% of the area is completely dry) I've been practicing " speed drying" for many years now and customers love it. Carrying extra weight ( blowers) doesn't always help production times, but so does the vacuuming,
crb-ing, etc.
I heard a lot about you, hopefully we will celebrate your 90th birthday with the wand on your side. There is nothing wrong with being active at that age, I envision myself doing the same. If I'm not swinging a wand, I find something else to do, and that costs money in most cases

.
I wish you many more years servicing your customers !
I had 1 older lady I cleaned for way back around 1978-79
Every time I cleaned her wall to wall wool carpet she had a stack of
cut up brown paper grocery bags for me to layout all through her traffic areas.
