Does this flow make sense?

I installed a new regulator and a new transfer pump. Everything seems to be working as I am getting a constant reading on the pressure gauge that goes up and down accordingly when I adjust the pressure regulator, and it holds at whatever pressure I set it at, at least according to the gauge.

However I am getting no pressure at my tool. I made a few videos to show you the hose layout and how things flow to and from the regulator. My suspicion is that some of the hoses are hooked up incorrectly. I just disassembled and reassembled everything according to how it was setup when I received it. Anyways if you have a moment please check it out and tell me what you think. Thanks!

Here is another video showing what kind of flow I get out of the high pressure solution line QD with an open QD attached to it when the pump is running.

Have you tried using different hoses to see if one of you quick disconnects is bad? And is your water pressure gauge just stuck at 600 when it's off?

Before you start taking things apart, maybe replace your quick connects. I just started having problems on my old cds 4.2 with losing pressure at the wand. Go back to the truck and the pressure gauge shows 500 psi. Open up my bleed valve and I have great flow. Leaking a bit from the quick connect so I twist the hose a little and bingo, I now have pressure at the wand. Quick connects can plug up usually with the rubber O-rings breaking down. Check that before trying to replumb the entire system.

I replaced every quick disconnect. At the machine, and on both ends of the solution line. But I have not simply tried a different solution line, I will do that.

If you have a different tool, try that also. The trigger on the wand might be going bad

Alright what the heck is that, I just used a different solution line and I have perfect pressure. Great news!

But what is going on with the old solution line? I replaced the male and female QD on each end with a brand new one and still no pressure. Can the solution line collapse or plug up internally? It has an old ball valve but I opened it and could see right through it when I took it off...

I spoke with Dwain's friend Michael at Clean Quest and he told me to remove a check valve from my new regulator valve, it is unnecessary for my setup. So now when the machine is off the gauge goes down to zero, before it would stay stuck at the last operating pressure before I shut down the TM.

I really don't know. I'm thinking you might just have a faulty male or female QD on the hose.

But the next step for your setup should be getting some zip ties and organizing that noodle of hoses you have so it looks cleaner and more manageable.

Yes, you should remove that check valve. It turns in to a reducer, instead of a regulator after that. Or vise versa, I can't remember. I had to do the same thing on my thermalwave.
