Ahead of our presentation at The Experience next week, Mike Pailliotet and I would appreciate your feedback regarding our logo's color scheme. For all of you to better understand The Cleaning Standard, this is not just a bulletin board to ask questions, but also a place to receive information on the latest industry innovations, and reviews on existing offerings. Even more importantly, it will also be a place where consumers can find answers to their cleaning problems, and where they can find qualified cleaners to help them. With this in mind, please choose, left to right 1,2, or 3. I feel here on Mikeysboard, you are the people who know me best, and your opinion matters to me, and Mike of course, deeply.

“Licensed”

#2 is the best

The first option doesn’t quite clearly represent a tile floor due to the lighter background

As mentioned, the dark blue contrasted with the Gold suggests a high standard

#2 is a winner

Jim, I and the vast majority agree

Won't it be nice to have access to downloadable "How To Guides" , that are not only created out in the open by those of us who do the work, but also written with YOUR input!

Up to the minute surface and textile techniques, equipment and chemistry information covered on most everything we clean, but starting with...

Surface ID
In Home Rug Care
Laminate and Vinyl
Fine Fabrics
Countertops
Coatings and Sealers

All the hot topics that Carpet and Tile cleaners need to fully understand, even if they don't provide the service.

After the basic membership, there will be a tier charge to access the groups within the new organization. Got it

After paying for joining the tiered groups, will there be other charges by these specific groups to further access?

Also, this credible AI that will be used, how credible will it be? I mean, AI as i see, is running amuck everywhere. Cant tell who it is your chatting with online or on the phone. Its cloning everything.

Will you be deleting all or some of Mikeys Board postings from the past or will now only be accessible thru paid subscriptions?

I mean, i like going back and reading some of the postings from the past from people that are still here, those that have moved on and others that have past.

Trying to wrap all this in my big beautiful head.

Think of it as a bronze, silver, and gold option.

If you've participated on the forum within the last year(or whatever criteria we decide to set[number of posts, last active, combination of these, etc), you will be grandfathered in to using the forum as it is. We plan to do some reorganizing and add some areas/rooms to the forum. I'm sure some purging will happen, but not a lot.

There are features and tools in development that will benefit everyone, from consumers/homeowners, cleaners/restorers, and distributors/manufacturers. Those will be at the silver and gold tiers.

Non-grandfathered-in folks will have the ability to select which tier(features) they want, and pay month-to-month, quarterly, or yearly. Quarterly and Yearly Plans will have a price break at each, meaning that you would pay more per year if you choose the month-to-month. Yearly option costs the least per year.

The goal of AI will be to guide any and all users to the information they're seeking. Let's say a consumer has a question about how to remove a spot. It can provide an answer or direct them to an area of the forum for consumers only, where they can get an answer from professionals that doesn't involve using Resolve or some other horrible OTC product. Or maybe it will send them to an article on spot removal for homeowners, recommend a company in their area, or give them multiple options to choose from.
