I "fainted" on my last job before going..

I quoted this lady 480 to clean this "fainting" settee and a few more modern pieces..

Upon arrival some of it turned out to be easier than the photos led me to believe, so I knocked 60 bucks off the price, and I nearly fainted
when she wrote me a check for $500..

And booked me to come back later this month to clean the floors..

Damn solution line in that SS upholstery tool ain’t cheep. Raising my upholstery prices after buying one last week! Jon-don suggested I pick up a spare tool so it doesn’t slow me down next time. Just $730.

Before you buy that second tool....

What caused that pressure hose to break was the the swivel fitting created by a male and female quick connect behind the head binding up.

Periodically disconnect the male and female quick connects, lubricate and then reconnect.

If the quick connects don't turn freely, replace them with brass ones (the stainless ones are too expensive, and not worth the additional cost).

My customers who do this routinely don't end up having to replace that hose often, or ever.

I think Legend Brands should (or they have and I haven't found it) have some video or written information that advises this.

This was also the issue with the Prochem Truck Mount Upholstery Tool, and likely will be with the version Butler created.

Check this before you start using it with your new hose, or it will snap before long, and you'll be needing another.

Its usually the solution hose fighting you.

Eventually, it loses.

Then you do when you have to pay for another.
