I just cleaned the dryer vent duct (it's only like 6ft to outside) and replaced the flexible plastic crap dryer duct hose with new aluminum

Nothing worse than a crushed dryer vent hose..

No polished mating surface for the filter rubber seal to mate at?


why does the mech hate it?
Has to be tightened too tight to prevent leaks?
(making it difficult to spin off with change)
or something else?
