Options for the Chosen Wand?

I'm tossing around the idea of making two alternatives to my beloved 12" -1.5" Chosen Wand, based on recent requests.

A Titanium version that's a pound and a half lighter.. (waiting on a price)

And a shorter version , roughly a foot, for tight spaces, stairs motorhomes etc ($570)

This near perfect wand continues to sell like hot cakes with cleaners of all ages being so enthralled with it, they daydream of ...options...

Thoughts?

I can see both working out. In fact, I could use the lighter one because of how I have to lean in and remove mine from the wall mount I’m using.

You've always been a bit obsessed with jet drips and clashing and fiber distortion, which I appreciate, so I have to imagine you are enjoying the "cleanness" of how The Chosen's jets work...

If and when you ever see the need for a wider head ( I know first hand how equally obsessed with big heads you are) you'll love my Simple Wand too.

For open areas and dirtier carpet it's a champ.

I set mine up with a Slot and 6 flow and along with the 1.5 tube, although a hair shorter than the Chosen, I can really move with it.

Titanium has gone from an "exotic/unusual" choice for a wand to an expected one in my region.

"Oh, that one is stainless steel? Nevermind..."

I think it is a good idea.

8' whip hoses are a blessing to you, the carpet, and your customer.
I have a 3-4 foot whip for attaching the 2" to a swivel stair tool. Sometimes if I just need a couple extra feet of vac hose for the wand, I bring that in. Even at that length its not the same vac as if I put the 2 inch directly on the wand. Cant imagine the loss of vac using an 8 foot whip

The Chosen Wand is my favorite wand. But at least on mine the jets were to far apart. On some carpets it would leave a center line that was less clean (often on berbers). I spent the first year using it trying every combination of jet sizes, 95's and 110's, I bought jets that have a tapered spray pattern from Spraying Systems along with the even fan pattern that Joe Bristor sells. Also several sizes/types of jet extenders, tried angling them and straight. trying to find the best combination that would give a perfect even spray that didn't spray out the sides to much. I was able to get the spray pattern dialed but never perfect on all carpets. With the glide off which is how the wand was intended to be used when designed, the sidewings catch any over spray out the sides because they are sitting on the carpet. But because we use a glide on it the sidewings don't stop the overspray on the sides because they are lifted of the carpet. My solution was to break the jet holders off then grind off about 2mm then had them welded back on. Effectively bring the 2 jets about 4mms closer. Problem solved. Perfect spray pattern now, using 9502's. Perfect wand.
