You guys are a treasure trove of experience and knowledge. Thank you for sharing.

I'll get the o-ring lube and specialty tools, and the specific o-rings from the quick connect manufacturer. If I order o-ring kits in metric and sae just to have on hand, would Viton or regular rubber be the way to go?

When given a choice i go with viton they are more chemical resistant plus i like saying viton!🤓

I always used Foster brand brass connects but always put a stainless steel male connect on all my tools.
They would last a lot longer than a brass ones and not get hammered up and difficult to connect.
