seams kinda hokey..

Installed yesterday at a good cleint of mine

Customer says they didnt see a power stretcher but installs says yes, he did.

Counter girls says seam peaking like this is normal and may settle down.

The pad is (taped here and there) seamed directy underneath the carpet seam...

clost to 1.5 " of up and down travel when you step on the seam...


Thoughts?

They stretched it wrong. Probably stretching from both sides to make the seam. Puts too much pressure on it. Better to stretch parallel to the seam and take the pressure off. Even better, do the seams before stretching, let cure a bit, then stretch.
