The rug addition to ice is the only part of the shows that sparks an interest in me.

ARCS is having a hands on workshop the day before. Many ARCS members will be there and some FP members too. Lots of other rug folks and those that want to be will be hanging around. I hear Randy Hyde and Robert Mann may be entertaining us with presentations.
We, Centrum Force, will have some gadgets to try out and buy at a discount only at the show. These include: The Rug Sucker at $50 off for a $399 set. $$'s off, to be announced only at the show, for the new improved IPS Pro battery powered sprayer that wee only sell equipped with Viton Seals. Also our own version of a 6" X 9" Stainless Steel Spotting Paddle will be offered at a discount at the show only. All these items are lightweight and can easily go back on an aircraft for easy carry on or luggage check in.

I went to ice a couple years ago and thourghly enjoyed myself there. I got to see some of the smaller companies that through price or politics will never be at the experience. I also felt like the casino actually wanted me in their building as opposed to the strip casinos who don't care if you are there or not. It is not a portable conference, all the major companies are there and bring their portables and their truckmounts.
I believe it is a perfectly valid conference.
